Negotiated final price today from MB Dealer today.
2017 C43 AMG coupe
MSRP $72,040.00 with options
Discounted$4,000.00 including manufacturers incentive.
However total dealership fees including gas, wheel locks, window etching, PDI etc- $4,787.70
7 Year, 160 KM Extended Warranty-$2,950.00 (non negotiable)
Pre paid service - $999.00
Dealer did offer almost top Black Book value for trade in - $20,500.00
Dealership fees, extended warranty costs deal killer.

The coupe is beautiful ... and driving this never gets old! . But for comparison - I got between 8-9% off my 2017 and free pre paid maintenance . I think you should get at least that if not more now on a 2017. But don't wait too long, you'll want to enjoy that pure evil AMG exhaust sooner rather than later

I have 36mo/15k miles lease and I have to repeat that I have a 2017 year model coupe (not 2018). I think I negotiated very well, but no where near the negotiation champion as some of these guys on here!

They are as follows:
Walkaway Basic - $249.00
Wheel Locks - $145.00
PDI - $2,695.00
Etched Windows - $165.00
Documentation Fee - $395.00
Fuel - $110.00
TOTAL - $3,759.00
All taxes inc Air Conditioning Tax, Ontario Tire Tax, Etc extra.

Province of Ontario, Canada has a Air Conditioning Tax as having air conditioning uses energy, or so the government says.
What realyy pi**ed me off is charging for gas, glass etching which I don’t want etc.
Was told these are non negotiable.
I even asked if I would get credit for the gas in my trade in.
I hate the haggling in the car buying experience.

You folks have some funny fees: walkway basic? I expect that PDI is some government tax. Do people still etch their windows??? Are you going to use wheel locks? I'd say you need to go in and negotiate some more. And the stuff they tell is non-negotiable is negotiable. If you really hate haggling, get a broker to do that for you.

I’m going to be away all winter so will try again late winter.
Have decided on the Coupe.
If I can’t make a deal in Barrie then will try GTA dealers.

What.. They're trying charge for a PDI.. that's manufacturer reimbursed, and Gas it's supposed to come with a full tank, wheel locks are they on the window sticker? if not don't pay, Window etching is TOTAL BULL**** costs dealer about ZERO

Trade in value is as per Black Book Value, Blue Book in the States I think.
Yes I agree, they are over charging me.
Thats why I didn’t even bother negotiating.
The car I was looking at is still on their lot from at least September 1. (2017 model)
If still there mid winter I will try again - maybe.
It hasn’t got red stitching and carbon center counsel. (Has black leather & open grain dark wood)
i checked my past bill of sales for the Audi and BMW before that and other then PDI non of these other charges. (ML 350 was CPO)

I'm pretty new here. There's. A nice 2017 c43 that I want to buy and it seems like everyone's talking about a "percent" off.
Do you guys start off by doing the whole give me the car otd for x amount (let's say 10%) and they work back and forth until you get it for 8% or so off msrp?

This dealer is a ****ing Crook. And you'd be a fool to buy from him. First off does the car have a window sticker? It has to it's the law. Take the bottom line MSRP on the FACTORY WINDOW STICKER and subtract %12 Do not include any BS dealer addendum. That's your Starting offer. If it's not on the Factory Window Sticker it's BULL **** and doesn't count. Window etching is PURE DEALER GAFF, it has zero value and reputable dealers stopped that nonsense in the 90's. And $110.00 for gas?? I've never paid for Gas that's ridiculous. Are the Wheel locks MB Factory Locks?? If not tell them to remove them and put the OE bolts back in. PDI in the auto biz stands for Pre Delivery Inspection. It is never charged to the customer, NEVER manufacturer pays dealer for the PDI, Gas, And clean and detail. Again if it's not on the factory window sticker it's BS. I've sold BMW, Porsche, Audi, Toyota, Nissan and NEVER is PDI charged to a customer. It sounds like PDI is a really sleazy way of marking the price over sticker..I would RUN from this dealer as fast as I could..

None of the cars on this lot have window stickers. I don’t know if it is law in Canada or not.
Also this is a independent MB Dealer, not a corporate one which I think there are numerous ones in Canada.
I have a print out from Car Cost Canada which gives you Dealer costs that I will use when I am ready.
