New rotors at 40k C450

Hey guys, just wanted to get some feedback on if this is normal.

Had all break pads replaced at 20k miles on my C450, again now at 40k miles. But this this time also need rotors. Total cost at the dealership for pads and rotors and installation if $1575.

I know the price is most likely high as I'm going through dealer, but is anyone else experiencing this kind of wear on brakes and rotors ?

I had a C400 before and 30k miles with no issues with the break pads.

Thanks for chiming in.

I just changed my rear pads and rotors at 22k kms. Luckily it was under warranty otherwise it would have been a $900 CAD job.

someone posted part numbers on a thread and I recall each front rotor was $125 ish and rears were $80 ish. pads were $80 for front and $60 for rear. so around $500-$600 in parts. about 30 minutes a corner for a trained mechanic.

so you tell me if you are getting ripped off. sounds like a yes to me.

20k on performance brake pads is pretty good IMO and 40k on rotors is good as well. if you are near michigan ill do the job for $1000 and a 6 pack
