Parking sensors standard ?
Are parking sensors standard? I just placed an order for a 2018 C43 with the following options, multimedia package, panoramic roof, Burmester audio, and performance exhaust. The vehicle I test drove was similar to the configuration I ordered but it was missing the Burmester. I didn't notice if it had parking sensors on it though. In case anyone is interest I'm coming from a 2012 S4. Thanks for the help.

In order to equip your vehicle with Parktronic, you have to select one of two options:
- Parking Assistance Package
- Driver Assistance Package
Parking Assistance Package comes with:
- Active Parking Assist (automatic parking)
- Surround View System (360 degree top-down-view camera system)
Driver Assistance Package comes with:
- Parking Assistance Package
- Pre-Safe Plus/Brake w/ Pedestrian Detection
- Active Blind Spot (automatically steers you away from car in your blind spot)
- Brake Assist System Plus (applies correct brake pressure automatically during emergency braking)
- Active Lane Keeping (automatically steers you back in lane)
- Speed Limit Assist (road signs are shown on your dash)
- Distronic Plus w/ Steering Assist (Semi-autonomous driving system)
If you haven't opted any one of those two options above, you won't have Parktronic.

Also check to see whether you can get the 360 degree surround camera as a standalone option. This does come in handy when parking/manoeuvring in tight spots. This is a £335 option with Park-Pilot in the UK.
