Ground Clearance, Tires, etc.
Noticed when I first got my C43 Coupe a few weeks back that it came out of my driveway a bit differently than my former car (Audi A4.) Felt like it was having some trouble gripping. The driveway is short and at a fairly severe angle, on a steep hill and attached to a carpark for a condominium complex. After switching to non run-flat tires this seems to have improved, though it hasn't gone away completely. Am wondering if this could be due to the 4-matic balance favoring the rear.
Also have some general questions about ground-clearance in the vehicle. I don't think I'm scraping coming out of this driveway, as that would be an obvious sound. But am interested if there are any issues with ground clearance on the car. Does the clearance vary in different drive modes and would this be a way of alleviating potential problems? Or is this something Mercedes has engineered for already and is it just another obsessive worry for a new owner?
