got the tires at Blaskin & Laine...and they were expensive as all hell, approaching $2K CAD. Checked around and everyone had the same price more or less. Even looked at buying from Tirerack and having them shipped up here and then installed. but when it was all said and done it would have been roughly the same price...maybe save 100 or so. But I didn't have time for that.

Cool beans! What type of rims and colour did you settle on? I'm probably going to get a Hyper-black or brushed titanium type colour. Don't want to go black because my current set (winter wheels) are black and well, i want a bit of a change for the summer.

looking to sell them as a set for now. Considering the tires are effectively new (less than 50km) on them, I'm looking to sell them for ~1K CAD

Ya know...I'm debating this. Though I can see the benefits of having a chat room for Canadian content and such, I kind of feel that something would be lost overall from the forum. Where will new Canadians who are merely lurking on the forum go for their info and [positive] peer pressure!? Isn't it better to keep most of the discussions public...for the sake of all Merc owners?

Just make sure you order the correct offsets and you won't need spacers. I recommend 15mm in the front, 20mm in the rear based on the stock size setup for a nice flush look. If you don't know how to calculate it, just use 1010tires offset calculator, it's easy to use.

yeah, I'm all set with how to calculate the offsets. Problem is, custom ordering rims (like you have) comes at a premium price. I don't think I can swing custom ordered 20" rims (and then tires) unless I get a good deal on them, and they're exactly what I'm looking for.
All the "flow formed" type variants are mass produced to keep costs down...and so there's no offset that works perfectly for our cars. I've got until summer to figure out what I want to do though.

For those of you in Calgary, I recommend getting your tires from Country Tire. The shop itself doesn't look that great from the outside (IMO), but they do awesome work. Their prices are also probably the best in the city. I ordered Sottozero 3's through them, and it costed me about 1.6-1.7k CAD, including installation.

No CarPlay. I’ve got the command system so it was not an option. When ordering, based on some rumors from the forum I asked the dealer to check if I could get it. He mentioned that it wasn’t available in my configuration.
You know what else I would have liked. A heated steering wheel. Didn’t remember it until I took delivery, but I understand the AMG Performance wheel doesn’t come with that option.
Think it slipped my mind because the BMW 440i had the option...and that was the other car I was looking at pretty closely.
