I understand the malfunction issue, but did it increase the performance of the car at all?

Update for me
I reached out toDinan and they were very quick to reply. They are going to send a new unit as they think the wiring may be faulty. I will keep posted on how it goes from here.
I have ave really enjoyed the Dinan system so far. Just annoying when it makes the Tunis turn off. The car isn’t so fun without turbos 🤮

I'm going with aftermarket exhaust before I try another tuner. Dinan offered me a pretty steep discount on their elite model after my Sport version bought the farm. I appreciate that they stand behind their product, just not sure that the value is there. If I do eventually go with a piggy I think I'll just go with BMS.

I did get one of the first harnesses sold. I did not install the harness so cannot tell you if there was any modifications needed.
Spoke to the installer today he didn't have much to say. If this one fails they are refunding me total cost. I hope it works I like the extra boost.

That’s got to be it.
Mine was also the first to be delivered and since I did the install I know that harness was wrong.

how did you know the harness was wrong? I am trying to determine if I have first rev of units or not.

Installed my unit today after sitting in my drawer for weeks. Install was straight forward. Not too happy with the large plug position under the airbox. I may revisit the cable routing.
On my short test drive I can for sure feel an improvement in acceleration. Happy so far but need more drive time. Will report back

Dec 22 the replacement Dinan kit was installed. I'm happy to report no issues with this kit. The added power is back.
Next mod: I ordered 2 K&N air filters last week.
