C43 Sport + auto mdoe cutting out
I have a 2017 C43 which when in Sport and Sport + auto mode is redlining between second gear and third gear and then it cuts out on the limiter as if you had hit the redline in manual mode.

sounds like a warranty issue, unless you have had a Tune, then it is a tuner issue. Probably needs a software up date.

If I understand the question correctly, I think it's the ASR/ESP which does this? I have the same problem, but never a problem when I turn off the ASR/ESP. With the ESP-system activated the power is reduced sometimes when accelerating hard in Sport+ and shifting from 2nd to 3rd. I see it more often in winter, because of less grip with the winter tyres, but I've also experienced it with summer tyres and dry asphalt.

Possibly it's a transmission issue. Either the transmission is reaching a torque limit, or it's too cold (not up to operating temp yet) causing a lag in shifting... hitting redline/rev-limiter before it's able to shift.
