Which would you rather have 500/600 or 600/500 rwhp/lbs
So it got me to think which do you guys think would be quicker having 500rwhp/600lbs or 600/500?
. but torque off the line is a good thing. They kind of go hand in hand.600/500 would be preferred. our tuned 430/500 is no slouch though. It comes to a point of hp where, its very easy to go to jail. Our cars in my opinion are at that entry level can get you to jail real quick lol. with the tune i am sure its bad lol.
the difference between 400hp and 800hp on normal streets is less than youd think. its the law of diminishing returns. not sayng they still wouldnt pull but 400hp can get you to 120mph no problem and the minute you start going faster the more HP will help to push even further.
In this scenario, unless the car weighs 4,000+ pounds with a wide rear section tire, that amount of torque is unwieldy and usually comes on early and drops off as the RPM's climb. The 600hp/500tq figure would mean a more steady climb in power meaning it is likely more controllable and faster anyways, due to the higher HP numbers.
The higher torque car, in this hypothetical situation, might feel faster, regardless of any of that.
