For the 8", the recommended size is between 225 and 235. 245 is the maximum and 215 the minimum. This is the same for the 8.5" too.

You should be looking at this the other way around. Check the rim width range for the given size of tire you would like to use, instead of the tire size range for a given rim width. Better results this way. Moreover, tire technology, material and construction changes over the years while the nothing really changes with rim width and the type of bead profile.

225 is better suited to a 8" rim width and 235 is better suited to an 8.5" rim width, this is for 19" tires and aspect ratio range of 35 to 40.

But would the clearance on the 8.5 be a bit tight for the front with stock suspension?

Depends on the offset chosen.

Kindest regards
cause the offset doesn't work on the eight

Does anyone know if the stock Tire Pressure Monitor Systems from my current AMG wheels would fit on the BBS CI-R's? Or would I need new ones?

Cheers

I’m running enkei raijin
Front 19x8 35mm et
Rear 19x8.5 42mm et
stock tire sizes. Have about 1mm clearance between tire and control arm. Perfect fit. No rubbing at all. 16 c450amg

Last question for those in the know. For a 2018 C43 Saloon, would AMG 7.5x19 ET44 wheels at the front need spacers of some kind? If so, how many mm?

Do not put 9.5 and 8.5 combo on the c43 c450 c400

255 35 19 will work on 9.5J

If you get the above rim spec, you can upsize to 235 and 265 respectively as well.

This fitment should be very good.
I tried this fitment twice first with 20" rims and then with 19" rims both times the handling changed the car was pushing hard to get to speed and I couldn't reach more than 240kmh with my c400. I returned the wheels and got some oz 8.5×19 with et 44 all around very good looking. Then still not good enough I found mam gt1 felgen 8.5×19 et45 all around and the car drives amazingly 258kmh no problems 0-100 way faster than the wider 9.5/8.5 combo and the fuel economy is better and the transmission and all wheel drive system thanks me every day. So guys do not listen to some idiots who want to sell you wheels to get the money. 4matic needs 8.5max wheels all around. Et 44 or et45 depends from the wheels construction

2015 C450 4MATIC W205
C450 Rim size fitment

Hello, everyone

I was wondering if you could help me with choosing the right set of wheels for my car. I have a C450 4MATIC. The car is currently on the factory 18 Inch wheels. It is lowered(on coilovers I guess but not entirely sure, because I've bought it this way and I haven't had the chance to ask the previous owner of the vehicle).
The wheels I'm thinking of going with are HAXER HX04F:
19/8.5J/ET40 FRONT
19/9.5J/ET40 REAR
For tires I'm probably going to get 225/40/19 FRONT and 255/35/19 REAR.

My question is would it be a problem to fit these wheels with these tires on the car?
Thanks in advance!
