2017 C43 sedan

Updated software c43??? What modules

heard there is an update for the transmission (tcu) and something about fuel updates? Anyone know if these will overwrite the ECU or is the fuel update for a module like the tcu update? My understanding is the tcu update doesn’t affect the ECU.. but what about the fuel one?

You would likely have to reprogram after updates

That’s what a tuner told me. Even tho most tuners charge a small fee for retunes

The tcu update triggers an scn flash as well. You’ll lose the tune and have to re-tune. Confirmed by a local friend that just got the updates and had an EC tune.
