C43 Invoice vs. MSRP
I picked up my C43 and I convinced the dealer to show my the invoice details for my car...I was able to take a photo of the dealer invoice & MSRP...This doesnt show my purchase price, which was about 14% off MSRP (not including taxes).

They have several items that are supposed to be STANDARD as additional charges, ie roof, burmeister. What the hell is that?
$70K MSRP and NO perf exhaust?
What about any other fees ie doc, other BS charges?

I'm struggling with the 14% off MSRP on a 2018. Was it a dealer demo or MB executive car?
I have sold plenty of 43 models and never sold a new one more than 6% off (approaching invoice)... MB dealers do not have 14% markup in that car, they would be losing thousands to sell you at that price. The only way that could make their money back would be on your trade or marking up your rate, which they can only move by 2% now.

I was surprised myself at the deal. I probably called 10 dealers in 5 states (that I was willing to drive to) and started getting quotes. I called the first dealer on my list who offered 6% off MSRP. I called the next dealer and said can you beat it...and they did...and so on and so forth. Ended up at 14% off MSRP. Why were dealers willing to make a deal? I think it was a multitude of factors....they indicated it had been slow for them (March, April), the 2019 models were announced, it was a high volume dealer, and I pressed them on making a great deal. I did not trade in a car (coming out of a lease), I did not lease the C43, nor did I use MB financing.

18' C43 cab
I'm surprised at 14% also, but I guess it's possible. I checked over 10 dealers too and was quoted mostly 0-7% off on an ordered car, but the dealer closest too me gave me 10% on a cab built in Germany so I figured I got a pretty good deal. Maybe they would have gone 12-13% on a car on the lot, but they didn't have one with the options I wanted. Most of the dealers I talked to didn't even have a 43 cab on their lot at all. But in CA what I saved in discount the state takes back, and you don't even get to deduct your trade in off the price like most states. Welcome to CA.

Never seen a $40 charge for training on one of our invoices? Odd... We get aggressive on cars that have been on the lot awhile.. but def do discounts on orders.. I have two 2019 C43 sedans, a coupe and cab on order.. have two nice C43 sedans a low optioned coupe and a triple black cab I'd be aggressive on
