New C43 Owner- questions about removing run-flats
Hi guys,
I wanted to introduce myself. I have been quietly following this forum for several months and decided it was time to join now that I own a C43. I am not new to the AMG world or sports cars in general, as I have worked for LS tuners and recently spend several years working for a Mercedes dealer in the Houston area. At my dealership, I was in sales and was the AMG rep for the store, so I am very familiar with what these cars are capable of and the constant debate on what a "real" AMG is. If you have any questions for someone that has worked for the brand, I'll do my best to answer them.
Have any of you running the 19s switched from the Pirelli runflats to the new Michelin PS4 or something similar that is a non run flat? I am on a 42 month lease and debating whether I switch them out and hold the Pirellis until my lease is over... Any suggestions?
I attached a picture of my 2018 C43 sedan (every option with the exception of performance seats and P3). I also uploaded a picture of my previous car, a 2014 CTS-V coupe (668 whp/651 wtq full bolt on/ trans tune/ drag radials).

Thanks for the links! I will have to use the search feature next time.
After doing some research, I may go with the Bridgestone S-04. Slightly less grip than the new PS4S, but great ride quality, road noise reduction, and should be less prone to understeer. At least that is what Tirerack and C&D have to say...
The Caddy was fun, but it was a money pit! I was constantly breaking parts, so time for a change and I'm going to try to keep this one stock.

I did a lot of tire research and PS4S is the best on the market. I ranked the Potenza S-04 Pole Position as #4 on my list. A solid choice.
edit: in case you are wondering, my list is as follows:
1. PS4S
2. PSS
3. ExtremeContact Sport
4. Potenza S-04 Pole Position
5. Firehawk I500
6. Potenza RE760 Sport
Can't go wrong with any of those. Last two will be more $$$ friendly.
