I skipped the multimedia package. With Apple car play now supporting Waze, to me there was no reason to spend $2,300 on a GPS that will likely be out of date in two months. If you like Waze on your phone, you’ll like it even more on the bigger screen.
The only reason to get multimedia is that it's a prereq for the advanced parking and distronic features.
Why do you say multimedia is a must? I debated about this one (and still have time to change), but decided against. Mainly because I use navigation a lot and would rather be able to connect to my phone for nav. Never had really good results with factory installed navigation.
If you're getting distronic options, then it's a must...probably should've added that part. I haven't used apple carplay in the new c class yet, so i'm curious to see how it is.

The multimedia package is not a requirement for distronic and advanced parking. I ordered the stock carplay option and got the advanced parking package with it.

My mistake on the distronic. I thought that was the parking sensors versus the adaptive cruise, et al. All I wanted was the sensors, but thats not a standalone option. Luckily, my wife will benefit from the parking assistant.
In other news, It appears as if the E63S and C63s have been released as of today. Yup, thats right. The C63 has been released BEFORE the C43. Ridiculous!

What recommendations for season tires and aftermarket rims. I am storing my 19' Multispoke whenever the car gets here since its already snowing in new york and we have a few storms heading our way. I tried to price out the OEM 18' AMG wheels, they wanted $1100 a pop with winter thread. So looking on tirerack, do these wheels fit the break dimensions? and i assumed 18's would drive better with good winter thread right?
please let me know any comments before i purchase. thank you

Lease is coming to a close and decided to stick with MB and the C43. Placed an order on Tuesday for a 2019 C43 in Obsidian Black with Cranberry interior. Went with the RSV wheels, black package, PE exhaust and a few other options. We're hoping there's allocation left for March, dealer said it might be April at this point but we'll see! Saw alot of orders at SF Mercedes on the screen also!
Heard back from my SA today, C43's released and will be delivered next week.
Anyone else hear similarly with regard to their cars? Would be great if some more people got some updates lol. Going to try to call my SA again on Monday.
