I'm having so much trouble with the navigation system. Is there anyway to voice command navigation to the name of a place? E.g. a nearby mall or restaurant etc kind of like how Google Maps works?
It's very frustrating that i always have to find the exact address I'm going to and then input it before I start driving.

I had the same frustrations after a few days, but then my sales rep clued me in to the Send2Benz function in the Mercedes Me app. Search on your phone and it can automatically send it right to your car. This is the only way I use the Nav system after 14 months.

I believe the "Mercedes-Benz Companion" app works in Canada ... and it has the "send to car's nav system" capability (and not much else). Using this app also seems to enable the nav system to understand traffic flow and it marks the route accordingly (and I don't remember it doing that prior to me using this app so I'm assuming that, when you set a route, it communitcates with your phone and gets the traffic info from their servers ... in any event, it uses very little phone data).
