Hey everyone. A new guy here with a 2018 C43 thay I picked up with a great (to me) deal. It was a demo/loaner with 3600 miles. Almost everything I wanted. I have already changed out the Pirelli RFTs for Michelins. The car did not come with Navi. Local dearler wants just shy of $1000 to purchase and install! Is there a "real" after market SD card to install on my own? Thanks for any help.

I do have apple play but I would also like to have the nav on board, if it is somehow not too expensive. I have been told there are after market SD cards that work. The dealer wants WAY too much to slide a card in and set up the system, if all that is necessary is to insert a SD card and go. Besides all of this, I just want what I want for no reason other than it is always good to have a back up.

MB charges them $625 for the card. Call local dealers in your area to get a better price. Replacing your screen with the 8.4" monitor and necessary hardware will be insanely expensive, if it is even possible.
Last time I talked to an MB rep, they said that you could not have both CarPlay and factory nav in the C class.
Long story short, the Garmin card is easily the cheapest route if you want the car to look stock. They are ripping your head off at $1,000 and there is no "installation" you put the card in and hit the navigation button, then click "I agree". That is literally it.
Tell your salesperson to that got you a good deal on the car to hook you up. I wouldn't pay more than $700 for it. Apple maps is better in my opinion.
