I was also supposed to be a July build but somehow it was sped up which was a pleasant surprise.
My only concern is all these stories Ive heard about EPA testing/emissions and vehicles needing to be regulated etc. Also have heard that sometimes they hold the cars until a "release date." Hopefully, this is not an issue. The car was already released in Europe on July 7. So, Im hoping by Aug we should be okay. But the fact that there is no pricing info doesnt bode well I guess.

Perhaps it is something to do with the bureaucracy and emissions, and government workers taking their sweet-a$$ time, hope you get it sooner!

That is an awesome surprise having an earlier build date! Of course I’ll post any updates I receive. Having no pricing is worrying!!
I do hope the car doesn’t get held up and sits for weeks. I would fly to the port to pick it up and drive back if allowed 😂
I am located in Hamilton Ontario and ordered a coupe. Where are you located?
No pricing yet but I plan to call the sales rep next week to get an update on pricing and delivery as it was built 1st week of July.

I went through the exact thought process. The 2018 looked great but then I saw the 2019 and had to have it.
I went to the Burlington Mercedes dealer on North Service Road. What an amazing dealership. The inventory is beautiful.
Im in Toronto and I ordered a '19 coupe also, planned delivery date is August 6.
I would ask for an order or tracking update on that.
If its around Aug 6th, then that would mean the car is already in Port in Halifax or well on its way. They spend AT LEAST a 4-5 days in Port through the VPC and Customs process, nevermind if there is any updated emissions regulations they must pass being that its an 'updated' engine. Then it would take at least 3-4 days to transport to Toronto.
In 2017 my then-new E400 was tied up in port for 4 MONTHS awaiting emission regulation clearance by some paper pusher in Ottawa. I was livid.
Guys in GTA, we have a local C43 group for Toronto Area. We are a pretty tight group now, so we add people in the group once we meet them in person in one of our meets which happens almost every month. Send me a message if you are interested!
Just an update for everyone. This is from someone who ordered an S class. Posted in the S class forum. Car was shipped and is at her dealership and she just posted this today.
Got an update from my SA today. He said, " I’m waiting for updates for 19’s units by the way. Think Benz is waiting for government Emissions testing from what I’m told so might take longer."
He also mentioned my car arrived in Halifax and is in VPC hold. Not entirely sure what that means.
Thats awesome news. Hopefully it remains that way. The SA i spoke to today did not seem very optimistic. He said just to temper expectations bc the last time vehicles were held it took 2 months before it was released.
