For you folks that have placed an order for a '19 sedan, how long til you got a build date? I ordered mine 4 weeks ago and still haven't heard anything from the dealer as to when it is scheduled to be built. Is this unusual?

Hey man. I ordered my 19' C43 Sedan back in May. They have already delayed it by two weeks. The dealer told me that it would be built in the second decade of september and planned delivery in October. Spoke to him today about the demos and he said all the 19s are being held at the ports right now. so who knows. waiting blows

I received my build date the same day when I ordered my sedan in late May (2nd decade of September). As far as my dealer knows that's still the case as of a couple weeks ago.

Update on my build date. I emailed my SA yesterday regarding the status of my order that I placed on July 10th. Here's what I received:
What I don't understand are the items listed 6/13/2018. I had no contact with any MB dealer before 7/10/2018. Could MB dealers have the ability to read minds and know what a person is going to do before you actually do it?(lol)

Probably yes if they already had a car order in with somewhat similar specs before you ordered. Cars are allocated to dealers and then the dealers can tweak the specs on that car to your liking before the specs lock. I think dealers order what they think will sell but if they get a custom order they can grab that same car and change it before it builds.
