Nano coatings are applications you can (or have a detailer) apply to any surface of your vehicle.
Look up Nano Coatings in Google and you will see about 1000 posts on them.
There are huge advocates of them and also folks that do not think they are worth it.
Personally, I have never owned a convertible so how they work on the "fabric" I do not know. However, on our Porsche cars, it does make a huge difference in cleaning. The Nano coating seems to adhere to the clear coat and make it very hydrophobic...aka...water beads off. Depending on what you get....again I can't comment on LONG term issues....our P Cars have been WAY easier to clean! Water simply "Beads" off just like having a newly waxed surface.
Probably the best way to describe what happens is if you have ever applied "Rain-X" to your glass surfaces. Water just beads up and moves on.
Hopefully I didn't confuse you but those are our experiences with the "Nano" coatings.

It would be amazing if this car came in a hard top convertible, definitely would have bought one. Its for the reasons that most stay away from soft tops that I didnt get one.

But imagine having all the benefits of the coupe and with the opportunity on those warm lazy Sunday arvos to put the roof down. Damn.

I really like the soft top.
Its warmer in winter than the w205 sedan I had previously. Allows me to hear the PE loud and clear with the roof and windows up. It’s very thick, not like the old school rag tops, and it leaves a half decent trunk when down.

You've also got to think of the added weight of the hard top. That would be a killer in mpg and sprint terms. Plus your boot space would be severely reduced...
