C43 chassi stiffness?

Hi,
I currently have a C300 Coupe, with the AMG line chassi.
For me that stiffness works well in my area.
I'm having problems finding a non facelifted C43 to testdrive so I thought I'd ask here, how stiff would you say it is in comparison?
I'm running 19" btw.

I just test drove a 2018 c43 coupe a few weeks ago. In comfort mode it felt very similar to a loaner C300 sedan with the AMG line that I was driving. I took it over some rough roads to test out the suspension. It was comfortable and not jarring over broken pavement. The c43 was running on 19" wheels. I have not driven any C300 coupes, only sedans.

was the loaner C300 sedan with airmatic? Currently driving C250 AMG-line with AIRMATIC, considering upgrade to 43' but dont want to be constantly annoyed due to stiffness...

If you're worried and comparing a C300 with or without Airmatic suspension with the C43 AMG suspension, you're going to be disappointed in the comfort. Between RF tires on the 19's and the AMG tuned suspension, the C43 does not float over any bumps in the road.

As many have noted, the C43 can be quite stiff with 19’s. Take off the RF’s and it gets far more compliant. I was able to use sport plus suspension setting once I put on PS4S’s. I find comfort mode too soft now, it feels like a cloud over pretty much any road surface, no feeling. I am in Southern California for reference.

I actually switched my RF's on my C300 as well, never liked those tires.
And I was comparing with AMG Line sportchassi, not the airmatic.

I went from C300 W205 with sport suspension and 18 inch Perelli’s to C43 with 18 inch Continentals. The C43 has a more comfortable ride than the C300 with Perelli, and in comfort mode is on par with a loaner C300 that had 18 inch Continentals and comfort suspension.

I don’t think you are giving up much comfort going from 19 inch C300 sport to 19 inch C43 but it may depend on the tires. My C300 with Cinturado’s was just plain crashy even on 18s. C43 doesn’t pillow over bumps in comfort mode, but it is not crashy in any mode.

The catch is the Pirelli’s were just better performing tires. Better grip.

Frankly I think the 18 inch wheels are the way to go to mitigate the stiffness if you don’t have great roads. If you have smooth roads and are getting away with 19 inch runflats on the C300, you can probably get away with it on the C43.

I will probably switch to Michelins. Just my thoughts.

I've had my 2017 C300 Cab since 4/2019 and it has been flawless except for the very harsh OEM run-flat tires, which I got rid of quickly. I should note I've only just turned 30K miles/

I have a 2019 c43 coupe with 19 inch wheels. I got rid of the RF tires and put on decent All Season high performance tires (General). Big difference! To get past the anxiety of no run-flat tires and no spare, I picked up a relatively inexpensive compressor that plugs into the cigar lighter to keep in the trunk. I've already needed it once for a leak about an hour and a half from home. Works great!
