Steering wheel fading

Might want to invest in a leather conditioner/uv protection. I’m not sure what brand offer the best product, if you don’t get a good answer here, I would ask this detailing forum: https://www.autopia.org/
I’m using this as a cleaner:
Works really good, my steering wheels looks like new after 20 months and 18k miles

Ive seen this on a number of MB trade ins. Time sitting in direct sunlight seems to be the biggest issue. Also hand lotions and hand sanitizer seem to tarnish the finish.

1. Steamer w/microfiber clothe on the head to initially scrub and "open up" the leather
2. Chemical Guys leather cleaner agitated with a small detail brush, scrubbed/wiped clean with MF towel
3. Chemical Guys leather conditioner with a long 5-10 min rest before wiping away excess
I've applied the same steps on the C43 after the wife has taken it out for a work road trip and come back with white hand prints all over the wheel/interior.
