Got a set of these in my basket, just waiting to pull the trigger as soon as we find out if these cause sensor issues. I really hope not!!!

Pic from my installer...haven't tested the sensor yet, guess we'll see soon enough. Love the final look!

Ya, I definitely thinks it adds to the aggressiveness of the front end and I like the way it breaks up all that grill down below.
Now just waiting for that air intake

Not sure it works quite so well on a blue car

Hmm...not sure. I *think I still like it but looks a little more 'aftermarket' not being the same color as the bumper.

Looks so aggressive! Thanks Clement for sharing. I like how you got it painted. Goes with the AMG front splitter.
Since my car is also black with the AMG front splitter this is the picture I was looking for!

I'm not sure yet as I haven't seen the invoice but won't be much, maybe $100 for a pro job.

Wow! I love these! Also great news about the sensors!

sorry to have caused unnecessary concern, but wanted to make sure these were as great functionally as they looked!

Going to to fire my order over now!

thanks

Just another quick note, fitment isn't perfect so takes some massaging on install. Just had a conversation with my installer and he said they were a bit of a pain but he got there!

Pulled the trigger and ordered my set.

I have the Chrome lower lip and want to change to the black or CF one, but they're horrendously expensive even the after market ones are $$$

I'll have to budget for it!

Do you think 3m double sided foam tape would be enough to hold these on? I'd rather not do a permanent install.

They do. Geez you would want it to hold on. If they fall off chances are you will self inflict the damage yourself.

Do you love it? It looks good imo. Goes with the rest of the car well with parts of your car being black.

Sorry forgot to mention that I did end up using the tape instead of a permanent install. The stuff my guy used was the strongest they carry so it's pretty good stuff and seemed to work.

If you are going to use the tape then my recommendation would be to use the 3M VHB (Very High Bond) tape. This stuff is really strong (i have my spoiler and canards fixed by this) and will not come off unless you want it to. Even removing items with VHB requires a considerable amount of strength to remove. The bond strength increases with time and so initially (after 2 -3 hours) i wasn't impressed, but after 48 hours, it is rock solid.

In many cases, 3M VHB can replace and surpass rivets, spot welds etc.

I use this stuff, because the car is on lease and means i can return it back to normal when i need to swap the car at the end of the lease.
