Has anyone had the chance to do this? One of the options I wish my C43 contained. IMO these seats are comfortable but do not aesthetically please me like the performance seats do.

I really don't care about price as I will just take the seats with me when I order a C63 coupe next year (purposely without the seats as i will just transfer), so please avoid telling me it will be too much $$.

If money is not an issue, go to the dealership and just ask them to do it for you. Trust me they will be glad to do it for you.

W205 AMG Performance seats

Description says suitable for all W205 models.

 

Does anyone know if the Performance seats are motorized?

 

 

Its one feature I wish I had in my car was cooled seats.

 

I cant believe the price. Wow, just wow.

You could buy literally a decent second hand merc for that kind of money.

 

I would reach out to the MB mechanics on the forum to make sure this would work first before buying...

 

The Alcantara ones do not have adjustable side and thigh bolsters.

I was referring to the Alcantara Performance Seats. Not the regular seats. It has lumbar and the extended thigh support but not the side bolsters.

Thank you for raising interest in AMG Performance seats. We would like to share some useful information about it.

Valid for brand new seats: Mercedes does not offer a "complete assembled" new AMG performance seat, if you want to order it from dealer, as all Mercedes seats consist from many parts, which have to be ordered separately. Our offers contain assembled brand new genuine Mercedes seats.
As for seat options, yes, unfortunately these are not ventilated, but exist with electric and manual adjustments with various finishing materials. Best would be to show us a picture of seats to make sure the desired lining.

As for installation: If you select seats different from your car options, it may require additional parts and labor. If your car has manual seat adjustment, but you want it electric, you'll need seat switches, door control units, door panel trims, etc but it's worth the result. But if the seats match with your car seat adjustment options, the passenger presence sensor may be the only complication. Most AMG Performance seats are equipped with Passenger weightening sensor, but normal seats - just with the "passenger presence" sensor which gives an error after the seat change. This problem may be solved with sensor type reprogramming or just weightening sensor replacement with your old "passenger presence" seat sensor (if your dealer is not capable to reprogram it).
