C43 chrome diamond grille
Car is not even here but I am not a fan of the chrome diamond on the 43 front grille ,I have a GLC43 in order and the grille is similar to the sedan .
Has anyone done something to black out those 120+ chrome diamond ? wrap or paint or something else ?
Thanks

I recall reading on here recently that there is a blacked out diamond grill available for the C43 but do not have the details- try doing a search on Grills. I recall reading this thread a month or two ago when a member here tried three different grills on his car including the Panamerica knock off from the GT cars.
It is my understanding that you do not have to remove the bumper to replace the grill, I would be interested in doing this also- I don't like how the diamond grille comes generic on the much cheaper CLS 250 and other garden variety MB models.
Btw the upgraded 2019 grill is also available and fits 2016- 2018 C43 as well

I could go with the Panamerica from the 63 but the look of it is not that great on the 43 since the bumper is not the same
I would like to see the chrome diamond gone ,that's it !
I think someone here on this plateform wrapped each diamond , would love to ear about it !

I recall reading about that wrap of the diamonds several months back and the OP said it was a really teadious and time consuming task. There is a better way like having the diamonds painted gloss black, cover the star and anything else you don't want black.
I think I will go with the upgraded 2019 facelift grill when I get the opportunity, I am told it slides right in and you won't have to pull the front bumper cover off- which is a *****

Does the GLC43 not have a night edition grille?
The guy probably took off his bumper, taped up the sides and went at it with Plastidip. I know he had to "cut out" each individual diamond, which I assume, is the excess material from spray coating.
