Here's my experience:
2017 C43 sedan, 19" rims, PS4 tires, about 20K km (15,500 mi), over 120 autocross runs, 3 track days with over 130 laps where each lap is about 1-1/4 mi (2 km) of ... accel. to 100 kph, brake to 80 kph, mid-long 180 deg corner, accel. to 140-150 kph, brake to 50 kph, blind hairpin/180 deg. corner, accel. to 130+ kph, corner and brake to 45 kph, hairpin/170 deg. corner, corner and accel. to 130-140 kph, brake to 80 kph, 2 twists + corner (total 180 deg.) then accel. to 180-185 kph, brake to 60 kph, hairpin corner and repeat every 12? seconds, if no traffic encountered (grinning all the way!).

Brake pads are down to 4.5 mm on fronts and 5.5 mm on rears. Not bad, considering that the track days are brutal on brakes.

I'm also pleased to say that, even though one of the track days had temps in the mid 30 deg. C (about 90 deg. F), the brakes have always worked flawlessly ... tons (literally!) of smooth, consistent braking with zero fade.

Yeah your times must be really bad considering how much brake dust these guys generate. I am surprised you aren't riding on the pad backs... /s but not really...

Wow, stock pads? That's kinda amazing.. where are you located? What tracks? Wondering if the stock pads are same every country? Using mb fluid or switch to MOTUL or endless or Castrol srf?

I go through a couple sets of pads every year, on every track car for the most part and usually have pagids or carbotechs. I've never used stock pads before.. Minus a couple on a Lotus Exige.. Then switched to carbotechs.

I had a gtr I tracked, it was in the shop so I took my daily driver gti thinking I'd make it one track day with just new brake fluid and I wore the pads down to the backplate and they caught on fire... Midway through my second session (of four)

Anyone else use the stock pads on track days?

Don't know about pads vs. country, but I'd doubt there's any change. I'm using stock brake fluid.

Ouch! It's bad enough to have brake problems ... but losing track time is serious! #;-)

I always try to trail-brake, so that helps.

Not sure what brake dust would have to do with lap times, but when I queried one of the A-group drivers who also uses LapTimer, I was told that the Porsche and BMW cars in the 350-450 HP range were running about 1 sec. faster than I was and the 500+ HP cars were running up to a few seconds faster than that. Being only my 3rd track day, I was put in the middle group. Nobody passed me on the last track day, so maybe I'll get to run with the "big dogs" next year. Seriously, though, it's about learning and having fun. As long as that's still happening, I'll still be grinning.

What I mean't by that was they disintegrate fast.

You were also on stock brake fluid? Interesting...
