The difference comes down to this: do you want to go fast and play boy racer, or do you want to have a better, more luxurious car? It really is that easy. There isn't a single person on this forum that can answer that for you. If there was a definitive best, it would require eliminating subjective factors, and there would be only 3 or 4 cars in the world. You know the qualities. Look hard at them and make your choice, based on your interests.
I agree whole-heartedly with these comments. We had the exact same choice to make, a C43 vs an E450, both would have been estates/wagons. We had an E350 estate/wagon and was very happy with it, so the replacement certainly had big shoes to fill. Originally Posted by Howyalivin

Don't bother trying to catch an E63, but other than that, you're good. The difference comes down to this: do you want to go fast and play boy racer, or do you want to have a better, more luxurious car? We chose the C43 and I can honestly say I am ecstatic with our choice. The E450 is definitely more stately and luxurious, but the C43 is a whole lot of fun to drive.
As Howyalivin mentioned, only you can decide, and it is a tough choice, both have their merits. Good luck with what ever you choose.
