Worth the $$ and fit?? 19” R19 AMG rims with red pinstripe
Hello all and happy holidays.
I know this topic has been posted quite a bit; so apologies if this is redundant. If anyone has a direct link to this topic please post.
Have a 2016 C450AMG project, lowered on H&R springs, AMR stage2, Weistec DP & track exhaust- now have been looking for awhile for a set of 19” rims (have stock Amg 18”) Have read a lot of posts where owners have been running into the trouble of rims not fitting the larger control arm and large brake caliper. Ultimately it has pushed me towards investing in a set of custom forged rims to match the bore size and eta which bumps me into the range of $7K+ for a full set.
I recently came across a listing on eBay from a reputable seller of OEM Mercedes parts out of Finland and they have a listing for a brand new set of hard to find R19 AMG matte black rims with the red pinstripe. The list price is around $8200 and the specs are Front: 8,5Jx19 eta 38 Rear: 9,5x19 eta 56.
sent the seller the current stock specs and they “seem to be sure” that they would fit.
Would anyone be able to confirm if these would fit the C450AMG or have experience with these rims?
Definitely would be a costly mistake if I bought these and they didn’t fit. No returns.

Have you looked in to rotary forged / flow formed wheels? They are stronger/ lighter than cast wheels and can also be dialed down to a custom offset for literally a fraction of that cost. There are plenty of companies you can go with if you decide to go that route and spend a quarter of that price. Just another option to consider if you haven't.
