Best Value for Money Merc in the C Class lineup.
Going to be controversial here and obviously bias, I am using Australian Prices and availability so bare with me.
In Australia Sedan (Aussie dollars)
C300 $78k (Missing options)
C43 $118K (cheapest AMG C class has almost all the options) +$40k over C300
C63s $173 (no C63 available in Aust) +$55k over C43 and +$95k over C300
I think the C43 has to be best value for money, bang for your dollar C Class Merc you can get and most sensible buy.
Personally if I could have afforded a C63s (I could but spending that much more would hurt for imo little gain), I would have probably looked at a Porsche Cayman GTS or BMW M4, which I believe are superior cars to the C63s.
At the $118k value, there really wasnt much competition. A base Cayman with literally no extra options was over $118k, Audi TT was around the mark and the BMW M2 was cheaper. The BMW 4 series was an option, but the C43 had it covered in spades.
No Mustang for me, ever. I am not a bogan (as we say in Australia) maybe you guys say not white trash in America.
