Has anyone else had issues with the alcantara on their AMG performance steering wheel going flat after a month or so? Mine got all compacted down and I can't seem to clean it and get it like how it originally was no matter how much I brush the alacantara. Does anyone else have issues like this or have a solution? (Yes my hands are always clean when I drive and I never wear lotion or anything either).

Buy Sonax alcantara cleaner and use a toothbrush to clean it.
My last alcantara steering wheel stayed clean for about 6 months before it needed cleaning. Not sure why yours looks bad after one.
the good news , is once they look like this, it will stay like this for a long period of time without much change, so if you are afraid that it looks like this after one month, what will happen after few years , don't worry.
but over all i am not a fan of alacantara

I had a E46 330ci ZHP with the Alacantara steering wheel (entire wheel versus sides) and since I was younger and drove like a cool guy, it was compressed at about 12:30 1 o'clock while I shifted. The material is great for grip and does not freeze your hands when you get in during the winter like leather. I used a suede cleaner and brush occasionally since the oils/sweat/and anything else on your hands tend to stick to it.
The other option, since its only on the sides, is change your grip so its all compressed versus just where you're comfortable.
