Very few CPO C43?
Started looking for a 2018 C43 CPO on MB website. There are only 2 that are under 200 miles away from Los Angeles (LA is not a tiny city in the Midwest). The other 21 CPO are located over 500 miles away all the way to the east coast.
Any thoughts as to why there are so few C43 CPO?

I have a 2018 C43 and have a lease for 3 years.
Most CPOs are lease returns so looking for a 18 will be tough because most people lease for 2 to 3 years.
Maybe look for 17?

I would think now that the '19s are starting to show up at dealers that you could eventually be able to get a good deal on a new 18 as dealers will want to move their leftover 18 inventory.

The 17's came out just over 2 years ago. As some posters above have mentioned, you'll start seeing a lot more CPOs once these cars are off lease. Anything on the market as CPO is likely a 24 month lease that has just gone back, or a car someone no longer needed / wanted / could afford.

Do the dealer demonstrators go through the CPO process? This could be a source for them. Having written that, dealers would only change them when a new model year came out. And I doubt they would do one of each variant(saloon, conv., coupe & estate).

Just to add to this thread OP I have wanted a c450 or c43 since they have been out but never thought I could afford one.
I lease so I change cars every 2 years, my lease was up and of course I was looking at C43s. A friend of mine said look into "demo" cars like guhvies said above.
I found a couple and actually went to look at one.
The demo did not have the PE so I passed but they had a few new C43s on the lot and obviously they wanted to sell.
I ended up with a 3 year lease on a 63,000 C43 for 620 a month which was 80 bux cheaper than I thought.
Moral of the story maybe you can grab one new
