AMR Performance Handheld OBDSVTune
Hi everyone , this is my 1st post and I would appreciate any feedback on the AMR Performance handheld tune. I got my handheld tuner yesterday and immediately extracted my stock file and sent it to AMR. A couple of hours later they sent me my tuned SV + burble file.
The file loads on the handheld but does not write on the ECU , I get an error on the handheld "Code 0x2400 Unrecognized file format Unable to continue".
After multiple tries with different files that they sent me , about 5-6 of them , nothing seems to work except my stock file.
I do want to be clear that the customer service is great and Matt has always took the time to reassure me that they are working on it and eventually resolve the issue.
Am I the 1st to experience this issue ?
Basically this post is to have your feedback and has anyone else experienced this issue ?
Thanks.

Is this on the MyGenius handheld? It will come up like that if they have a bad slave file for the ECU version you have, or the firmware on the master, the slave, or the handheld are not matched up (one is newer/older than the others). Good luck with having them sort it out.
Yes it is the MyGenius handheld , still trying to sort this out. I will keep you posted.

After 2 weeks of trying the tune , i truly have to say WOW , it is totally a different car. I can feel the increase of hp/tq especially when taking off and power delivery is way better. When you downshift , it’s music to my ears , the cracks , bangs , pops , burbles or whatever you want to call them lol , sounds like an AK47 and i love it.
Once again , thanks to AMR , Matt and the engineering team for transforming my C43 Coupe.

A “piggyback” tune is the safest bet if you want to keep the warranty.

That is why in my opinion hand held flasher are the best for tuning cars.

C43 AMR Performance Tune - 6 months in
Greetings,
I know many folks come to this forum (I know I did) when they are considering a tune for their MB. I bought the Comport system back in November and had some issues programming (my stock program was outdated) that Matt resolved SUPER quickly. All I can say is that I have tried other tunes and had issues with all of them but ZERO problems with the AMR version. I've been super happy with the product and wish I didn't live in California so I could upgrade to the RV3.1. If you are even considering a tune, I HIGHLY recommend this tune - big difference from stock (and no, I don't work for them).

OK, Meathead. I have nothing to do with them except that I am a happy customer. When I get a POS I raise hell and leave negative reviews wherever I can. I was just trying to give some info on my experience. If it doesn't effect you, maybe you should just swallow your negative feedback.
