Creaking Rear Seats

Anyone else with the C43 coupe have loud creaking noises that come from the rear seats everytime you go over a bump or something? Pretty annoying and it really just feels like poor build quality from Mercedes. Too bad everything is watered down these days.

Yes, I can't pin point it exactly but it has to do with the rear seats/locking mechanism or maybe even the C-pillar areas... Along with that my passenger vent drives me insane!! Cheapest "luxury" car to date... lol

If it sounds like a creaking ship, them it's likely the rubber door seals and and flocking. This worked for me:

I sourced the 1" wide version of the 3M Squeak Reduction Tape.

I had similar experience with creaking sounds in rough roads (e.g. going over speed bumps) from the rear seat area. The technician at the dealership found it to be a broken pin that holds the roof liner. Might be worth checking.

Same on mine, but only on the right side. The dealer has lubricated the door seals a couple of times, but it comes back after a few months... Strange that it's only on one side, though.
