2019 digital instrument cluster?
I was under the impression that the digital screen was standard on the 2019. Is the base the same analog clusters as the 2016, 17 and 18? If so, I need to cancel the shipping on my vehicle.
Yes standard are analog gauges. Call the SA and see if the car is still in a stage that can be altered. Usually options can be added/removed afterward.
Well, it isn't being built. My dealership had to make a deal with another dealership to swap vehicles. The other dealership put the car on the truck today. I really want that digital cluster.
There are a lot of options I thought would be standard on a 2019 but its sad. Digital Cluster isn't standard. I was hoping ambient lighting would be since it is on the CLA but not the C?
You need to get with your salesman and he needs to get the order guide up on his screen and then go through what you want starting with what's standard and then the options. It can get tricky depending on the option as some can not be ordered without others or one option kills another.

Nope, not standard. It's a $750 option. Basic ambient lighting is standard I believe, but the upgraded 64-color ambient lighting is optional. New standard features as far as dash and infotainment goes for 2019 are Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard now and you get the larger 10.25" center screen standard, even if you don't select the Multimedia package, but all the cool stuff that is shown in the reviews is optional. It's no different with the competitors. Audi's Virtual Cockpit and upgraded Infotaintment system is also optional. Some folks don't like the digital dash, so they still have the option to stay with the standard analog gauges.
In Canada 64 colour ambient lighting is standard for C43, but the digital cluster and the upgraded headlamps have to be bought as a package.

My goodness! Shows the need for people to go through the DOG before ordering your cars. I checked and double checked sources before ordering my car so I was absolutely sure what was standard and what was optional.
Anyone know if the dealer would do a retrofit? I have a 2019 with the analog, but I was thinking its a genuine MB part for the same car....seems like it shouldn't be an issue if you're willing to pay dealer rates for labor...right?
