I've noticed that when I'm manually shifting in the Sport + setting the throttle isn't nearly as responsive initially as it is when I'm in auto with Sport + engaged. Anyone else notice this?
I can't imagine why it would be programmed this way, I would think it'd be the exact opposite.

And just to clarify; it takes noticeably more pedal pressure to get rolling from a stand still in "manual" than it does in "auto" but once I'm moving everything appears normal.
I know this seems obvious, but pay attention to the gear you're in. When you just put your foot down in automatic mode, the car automatically downshifts to the appropriate gear. I've only had my C43 for a day and havent gotten to the break in period, obviously, so i don't know if in "manual" the trans will or won't automatically down shift for you or not. I'm coming from a 6 speed F30 335, hope this helps.
I know what you're saying, in Comfort mode it starts out in 2nd gear but this is different. The car definitely starts off in 1st when you're in Sport+ but in the manual mode you've got to give it a lot more throttle to get going than if you're in auto.

I used manual mode for a while now (Get some nice pops in 1st or 2nd gear) but I don't experience what you're describing for my car. But what I do notice is the traction control. If I take a turn hard and go onto the gas all the way the car seems to just take the pedal away from me and put the power down like 2 seconds after.... When I disable Traction Control that's where it shines... So I would recommend just holding the TC button for 10 secs but be careful while you are on it and see if that makes a difference.

hi, I know this is old but I’m also coming from an F30 335 manual. I noticed that when I put it in manual mode and in sport plus on my C 43 the pedal sensitivity is much lower than it is in just sport plus or in sport plus when I use a paddle shifters, but don’t put it in manual mode.
I believe manual mode makes the pedal to throttle position linear. Where the sport+ mode has the perceived feel of heightened sensitivity because at 15% pedal for example the throttle plate % would jump to 40%. Manual mode would be 15% = 15%.
