2019 Custom order ended?
Custom order C43 Sedan just stopped. I cannot order... US factory doesn't accept any more 2019 based on my dealer's comment... Should I just wait.... Or just wait more and ordering 2020 one?
Which month usually accepting next year model? June or later?
San Jose CA.
Could you share your recent custom order?

So no more allocations allowed for 2019? Crazy!
I mean if there's one the dealer can find that's ready or almost ready that meets most of your specs i'd grab that. Don't settle for local dealers either. You can try autotrader to search for new around the country.
If you're adamant on getting exactly the specs, then I'd probably wait. I know for 2019 they started taking orders in may or june? That may be different for 2020 though. Dealer should know more.

Took control of the last allocation set for southeast about 10 days ago and is due for second week of may delivery
There is a ton of inventory of cars sitting around but that would mean they stop production for a few months between MY which I can't fathom.
I will keep an eye to see if my dealer gets more allocations (have close relationship one of the largest dealers in SE)

My guess is it's V167/X167 ramp-up. They most likely built a big ol' run of MY19 C43 sedans to dedicate more plant capacity to the GLE (and the soon to be announced MY20 GLS). Vance is the only plant in the Daimler manufacturing network building the GLE/GLS for all 135 global markets.

'19 C43 AMG Coupe
I just ordered a 2019 C43 Coupe last Wednesday. Sorry but at least for the New Jersey area, my dealer told me the sedan order window was already closed and the coupe window was set to close this past Tuesday 3/26 (not sure about the cabriolet window). I hope your dealer was able to secure a 2019 car for you!

Today I received an email from the 2020 - MY800 version that they are updating production after first week of June. Tomorrow i will speak with them and see.
I suppose after that date will begin the production of mine (ordered november 2018) and something will need to be changed.
regards

Regarding NAFTA builds: In the April 8 issue of Automotive News, current MBUSI President Jason Hoff is quoted as saying "we're building the C-class sedan and a GLE SUV on the same line. Those are two completely different platforms and that's a big step for Mercedes-Benz. About 24 months ago when we were discussing it, the team knew it would be complicated but believed we could do it".
We are absolutely feeling growing pains of the shared production line and I'm quite confident that short MY19 for NAFTA W205's was impacted as a result.
The rest of the world starts receiving what the US refers to as MY20 (19/1) in June of this year--orders opened April 17 for this series update.
