I have a list of must-have options as we begin our search for a pre-owned 2019 cabrio. (Optional headlights, ventilated seats, PE, etc.) I know how to spot the headlights and seats from pics, but don’t know what to look for to confirm the car has PE. Some ads don’t always include an accurate or complete option list, so I often confirm options via the pics. Is there a switch I should be looking for? Thanks.

 

On the console near all the options to change things if it has PE there will be a button with two little exhaust outlets and that’s to open or close the flaps, that’s one way to tell

 

+1. This is the only way AFAIK to identify it visually. The button looks as shown below, the one in between the volume wheel and above the Engine Auto shutoff switch (with the letter A).

 

Most ads/listings have the vin. Google for a Mercedes Benz vin decoder and then you can know all of the options for certain.
