owning out of warranty
i picked up a C450 with CPO and extended warranty. since my last oil change service at 40k, just recently the car went back in for a battery failure. They called me and said they need to keep the car for a few days because they are doing some additional warranty work including the battery (i guess some differential seal was leaking and my radiator was also leaking?) the car is a 2016.
seems like these would be decent repairs if it wasn't warranty.
just curious if i should be looking to get rid of the car once the warranty is out.

Stuff like the battery and even the radiator aren't fixes that would worry me as even at the dealer, they aren't that expensive and indy shops can easily do that work. An intermittent short in one of the systems or many computers is a fix that can run into a lot of money... Though the cars are really advanced in telling the mechanic what's wrong with their self-diagnostics.
Sorry I'm not really being helpful.

thanks for sharing some insight, but that is also true... i guess it goes for any new cars technology really. there will always be more going wrong in newer cars than an old 70's beetle....
