C43 tire pressure

C43 tire pressure
It’s getting cold here in NY and I see my tire pressure is dropping. I’m not gonna fill it to max cold value or vary pressure from front and rear. The runflats already ride stiff and I don’t want to brake a tire. I’m on the oem 18’s. I’m thinking about setting them all at 35psi. Any thoughts ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,?

You should inflate them to the recommended normal load pressure as found on the sticker inside of the fuel door. The sticker on the door frame only lists the max load pressure meant for when the car is fully loaded with passengers and cargo. Normal load pressure will be lower.

I put them to 35. Although dash shows some 35 and some 36. What ever. Just the tire pressure increase made the car ride much stiffer. In the summer I was at 32. This is what the dealer did and I never touched it. I probably gonna drop them all to 34. I think this is why people keep breaking there tires. Those pressures are way to high.

The fuel door on my new 2020 C43 sedan gives pressures for 18" and 19" tires, then a separate line for "M&S" without specifying whether that refers to 18" or 19". I suspect the "M&S" line is for 18" which is more typical for a winter tire which I just put on. The "M&S" specification line calls for 41 front and 38 rear....and as others have noted, you need to ensure your cold pressure setting is set in the correct ambient temperature. In my case, I put the car outside for a while (where it has been in the 30 degree range) and adjust there....does no good to set them in a warm garage only to then drive in much colder temps.
