Winter Wheel Lug Nut and Spacer Trouble

Hi guys I really need your help, I've been all over the place buying and returning things for a month at different shops with even the most reputable places telling me the weirdest things.

Long story short, went to buy winter tires for my 2018 c43amg coupe, and the guy said they would fit but they rub against the caliper cause the offset was 40. My stock ones were 19 inches, and these are the 18x8 touren tr 5x112

any spacer under or at 5mm would be too small and anything between that and 12 would cause vibrations so I ended up with 15mm spacers.

Now my issue is lug nuts. i bought some 23mm but are too short, I called a benz parts dealership and they said my OEM ones are 30 which makes no sense to me cause my friend has the same car with similar wheels 35 offset and it works with a 5mm spacer and he needed 23mm lug nuts. If stock is 30....why would he need smaller lug bolts? I have no idea.

So which ones would fit? The some performance car place said I need 45m if the benz guy says stock is 30, but my concern is I'm not sure if stock is 30 I've been reading on this site its 17mm.

so on my head I'd need a 32 if this website is correct. If my stock is actually 30 and this benz parts guy is correct and I totally disregard my buddy, then I'd need 45mm lugs.
Please help ?

If you had bought a winter tire and wheel package from TIre Rack you could have saved yourself this headache....they have recommended packages that FIT properly and come with new wheel bolts that are also matched to work with the wheels they send. Just bought a set from them for my 2020 C43...mounted, balanced, and TPMS senders installed and delivered for around $1700.00. Having said all of this, their technical guys are really helpful and they might have the answers you need even though you did not buy from them...worth a try

I ended up using 35mm bolts for a 15mm spacer so I think 32mm sounds about right.

I found out stock is a 17mm hex but 30mm length. However it is actual a 27mm if measured in length........so now I'm wondering how 35mm bolts worked. *facepalm*

Based off this you would need 42-45mm

Yes you're right sorry. Double checked my order and it was for 45mm bolts, where the stock ones were 27mm.
