I'm curious to know what makes one eligible for battery replacement under warranty. This isnt considered a wearable part?
Eco start/stop working last month, tech said battery was 50% and so got a new one.
This time around I disabled eco start/stop by disconnecting wire for it from the negative terminal. I want to conserve battery, starter and alternator as long as possible.
Is it suppose to dangle like that? Where can I secure it to?
Pull the cover off for the battery. You should see a port you can connect the vent hose to.
When they swapped out your battery, the tech probably just forgot to connect it.
