Mine was vibrating a bit at about 150-160 mph on the weekend. But it could've just been a rough road surface.
Not sure I can report that to the dealer as it wont be very repeatable 😄😄

My experience so far...
The Michelins are great, sooooo much better.
no humming noise anymore and the car makes much less noise.
no tyre skipping anymore and tyres feel much more safer than the RF’s

For me, it wasn't the tires. Went from summers to winters same behaviour. That being said, winters and summers might be the worse comparison being completely different rubber and purpose.
Other people that have this problem did try the tire change first from run-flat to conventional. Such as some that went for Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and Pilot Sport 4S didn't improve the situation.
The problem only solved for them after replacing the driveshaft specifically balanced by AMG for C43.

Thanks for the kind words too really appreciate it @zibby43 and yes I do hope things does get solved for me eventually. Fingers crossed, so far the vent whistle and hissing noise, diff whine and this vibration issue otherwise all is good.
I am surprised you went for another C43 but hope it doesn't have the current issues you have.
Yes this board is one of the better boards out there, I too appreciate all the input other members gave.
As for the interior, it is really a personal taste. If your city is constantly hot, dark interior might not be a good idea because dark colors attract heat.
The saddle brown is a nice choice. White makes the lines pop on a MB so white is great too.
As for the body style are you sticking with w205 or you want to get a c205? At least c205 coupe C43 are built in Germany in the North American market.
Forgot but didn't the facelift had a power boost? Bigger turbos probably solved the power delivery issue. I don't know if they changed the tranny but maybe not, still just a torque converter I guess.
But the ultimate choice is yours.
Happy car shopping!

What happened to the saddle brown idea?

I hope so too. Still on the fence, though lol.
It's the upgraded piano black w/ Nappa leather steering wheel. Looks incredible in person. Love alcantara/DINAMICA, but that's the last place I'd want it on a daily car (steering wheel).
"Hand-sewn, embossed Nappa leather side grips are accented with polished Black Piano Lacquer in this stylish variation of the AMG Performance steering wheel. It's available with Natural Grain Black Ash wood and aluminum or AMG Carbon Fiber interior trim."

Awful
Why on earth you would like to have the worst slippy and ugly material on a sports car steering wheel ?
even Jaguar stopped ugly wood on steering wheels years ago.
The best feel on the GLC is to grip the Alcantara both sides of the steering wheel.
Sorry.
Just logic here.
If it was so good to handle a quick car, the WRC or formula 1 would have this light carbon fiber steering wheel with no alcantara on it.

It’s not wood, either, btw. Regardless, thanks for your unsolicited input.
I don’t know if I’d pay the extra $600 required for this option if I was building a car, but in no way is it an issue for me.
Looks great with the CF trim.
On a side note, modern F1 wheels don’t use alcantara (long gone are the olden days of alcantara Momo wheels).
They’re carbon fiber with synthetic grips at the 9 and 3 spots - the actual places your hands are supposed to be.

Sorry
It’s not “slippy” lol. It’s actually very grippy. My hands will never be there, anyway. I drive with my hands at 9 and 3.

Thank you for those details, far from me to be mean. I am sorry if it hurted you, really.
I just wrote that quickly in a small window of time I had and after the shock I had looking at the picture.
At the end of the day, if you like it and it is nice to touch, why not 🤟😊👍.
About the price, 600$ for this option is not so expensive, in comparison here in Europe :
a glc43 base price was 71000$ with VAT in 2017 without any option (even not LED lights nor Command).
The dinamica steering wheel is almost 900$ option and on my car I had to add 26.500$ options to have it well specced (and I don't have leather seats, just dinamica) and waited 9 months to have it build on order 😬😳
Then I had to pay 5.500$ national tax for having it on the road and 2.000$ ecological malus. Then every year we pay nearly 1.000$ road tax. All those taxes are based on displacement and horsepower and CO2.
On top of that 1 gallon of RON98 is about 7$ .. 😥
Just to say that it looks good to live in the US to drive German cars .. They provide nice packages there.
Best regards,
Bougy

Hi,
I have also reported to the dealer a problem with the vibration above 160 km/h. for the third time. At the beginning they told me what this is coused by braking discs. Secound time it was rims and tires. but last week i left the car in the service and take the service master for a ride. I drove with him 160 km/h up to 260km/h and car was behaving the same, it means equal to sinusoidal vibrations with noise. At the moment they checked half of the car and they dont know what is going on. At the moment this case in Mercedes Poland - Warsaw. We are waiting for their feedback.
If you will have any solution from yours country just let me know.

by any chance, did they found something ?
My car is going to service in a week and I had some emails with the Canadian MB service centre where one forumer had this driveshaft replacement applied on a C (I have a GLC43).
No to pa,

The Dinamica wheel looks great. I had the Dinamica seating insets on my ‘13 W204 C63. Looked very sporty, and felt awesome, but I found that it was a fair amount of work to keep the material looking good.
I think the all-leather wheel would be best for me, but I appreciate the uniqueness of the one with piano black inserts.
Have a good weekend.

Someone else with a W205 C43 got the issue fixed with a driveshaft replacement.
It just seems difficult to get them to admit it is the driveshaft.

Try to get them to check the driveshaft and see if they are willing to as you mentioned someone got their driveshaft replaced on a GLC43 which fixed the issue.

I red this for a c43, did you saw the same solution on a glc43 ?
I guess the drive train is equivalent

Hi Bougy, I hope you are doing well during this pandemic and staying safe!
Hmmm sorry for not checking this thread often didn't notice your reply.
No, I didn't see anything similar for the GLC 43 but yes I agree with you on how the driveshaft should be similar if not the same.
Turns out, it had been 5 months since your reply, I am wondering if you already got it fixed?
I only came back to this thread today because I want to follow up with my situation, which is not good as they couldn't duplicate the issue on the highway, plus this pandemic I can't test drive with them.
I hope you already got the issue fixed, if so, can you tell me what did you do to get them to check the driveshaft they keep saying other things are causing it and not the driveshaft and refusing to work with me.
I read back and noticed you mentioned that, you "had some emails with the Canadian MB service centre where one forumer had this driveshaft replacement applied on a C", did that helped with solving your issue?
If so, is it possible that you can DM me more information on how it helped solve your problem?
Appreciate it!

Hi mr noname
In fact my glc43 wglc43 the dealer for 2weeks just before covid so I had to take it back.
They do admit a slightly vibration and they wanted to swap the 4 wheels with a glc43.demo car but .. covid.
Now they are completely overwhelmed with customers but I managed to have an appointment for year maintenance and the vibration.
Dropped it 2 days ago.
Wait and see then ...
The story with the canadian might have catch their attention but not much more I think.. for the moment.
Cheers

Dziendobry from Poland, Kacper !
So I have some news.
In june my dealer found a GLC43 but already with the facelift (not the same then, even the engine felt differrent, and the sound, too - both are with no valves).
We had a very short time frame window to do the test and the weather was horrible, so if I felt clearly the difference between mine and this 2019 glc43, they couldn't really and clearly feel it.
So no time to exchange wheels nor doing a test drive with the staff together.
Now, 2 weeks ago, I succeeded to bring another GLC43 2017 with same mileage as mine (40K km) and same 20" AMG wheels.
Weather was a bit better but really windy.
So first we tried a highway with less risks of police patrol and radars and even if I felt the vibration in the steering Wheel and in the seat, the dealer head of service didn't really (a bit, but not exactly), even at higher speeds, but that road is really really Noisy and harsh to drive on (tarmac).
Then we went on a more silent highway and there, at leagal and reasonable speed, he felt it instantly : "I feel and understand exactly what is your complain now", indeed, the vibration was clearly there but also the cyclic humming.
Then we tried the other GLC43 on the 2 same roads and there, even on the harsh and Noisy road, he told me instantly : this is a complete other car !
On the "smooth" highway, it was even more obvious : that GLC is a mercedes, mine isn't.
Then we did the very same tests with the head of mecanics from my dealer.
Same results !
Then we took the 4 complete wheels from the "good" glc43 and mount them on mine, to be sure it isn't tyres/wheels related.
And the results where without appeal : same problem than with my wheels.
So My 3 sets of winter wheels I tried from a french company (finally I gave them back, was vibrating like hell) and my other set of AMG 20" wheels for winter are giving the same problem of vibration and humming, because it isn't tyre/wheels related.
Now, they are working on my car, I think they will balance the driveshaft and change the flector also and see how it goes.
While I received another replacement car (they are very nice with this, I do appreciate that) : a combi e-class 220d (consumption is less than half of mine and it is Diesel).
I had also the occasion to drive a C Class 300de and oh boy, what a nice car (5,5 sec 0-60mph) and 5,5 liters/100km ! (my glc is 13l/100km).
But none of those have the preciseness of the AMG chassis (even if the 43 is a baby AMG, suspension wise, it is an AMG), much safer to drive I feel.
What about you ?
Keep you posted.
Eric
