My wife and I just bought a silver 2020 c43 cabriolet. We’ve had it for 4 days and have loved every minute we have driven it. Fortunately the weather has been nice and we’ve been able to drive with the top down most of the time. After reading about the harsh ride, Im surprised I don’t find it overly harsh. I mostly drive in S+ and love the firmness and love the snarls and pops of the performance exhaust and the wicked acceleration. Quite frankly, I think a c63 would make me wet myself. Anyway, it’s a great car, and performs well enough for my purposes that I won’t be modding it. I’ve attached a pic.

I think the 2019 and 2020 "refreshed" C43's are less harsh than the 17s and 18s. For better Winter driving, I changed tires to Mich Pilot Sport A/S 3+ and the ride is now even better.

I have two friends that have 2016 C43 Cab and 2017 C43 Wagon and I have a 2019 C43 Wagon. The suspension feels the same. 2019 model doesn’t seem any less harsh. They all ride too soft in my opinion, not enough body control and damping.
