I managed to replace the in-cabin air filter (under the glovebox on passenger side). It wasn't too difficult but I found this loose plastic cap just laying on the trim when I took it off.
Kind of a random question: if anyone has been to this part of their car, do you happen to know where this cap is from? The cap does fit into this tube here (see photo). I'm not sure of what tube that is and if it should be capped there.
Hope my photo helps with visualizing where we are in the passenger side. I just left it open for now.
