Lease return question.

Lease return question.
I currently have a 2018 C43 and my lease is up soon. I got my tires changed when I took my car in for service but I had them replace it with non-runflat tires. I asked him if I would need to replace the tires with non-runflat tires at lease return, but he stated I wouldn't need to. (Unfortunately he no longer works there). Since I got the MB service center to change my tires, would I be able to get away returning the car with non-runflat tires?

@w205_C43 , I linked you the site with the guidelines to follow and what is considered normal wear and tear.
https://www.mbusa.com/en/financial-s...-for-lease-end
From the link, I noticed this sentence: 'Wheels that weren't originally equipped with the vehicle at the time of delivery (upgraded aftermarket wheels installed by an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership are acceptable)"
I hope this helps.

As somebody else already said, if you are leasing another car from them then this most likely won't even be an issue. They are desperate for sales and there are deals on the table. I've heard of people turning in their leases early by as much as 5 months and get the remaining lease payments and initial payments of the new lease forgiven and no lease end costs. However, if you are not going to lease/buy a new car, keep in mind that due to COVID, MB has temporarily suspended the lease end pre-inspection, so you can't find out in advance what lease end costs you gonna incur, and several dealerships are currently not even accepting lease returns, unless you take another car off their hands.
