LSD Rear Differential
Just FYI, I am working together with Traction Concepts to start developing a progressive LSD for the C43. They will probably put the new application on their catalogue after we are done with the project.
A progressive LSD not a full traditional LSD, it’s a new type of retrofit for open Diffs. It’s neither Clutch nor Torsen. But it does the same thing by binding the spider gears and evening out their rotational speeds when the speed differential becomes too fast while losing traction on one side.
Those of you who are after better acceleration times on Dragy or on the Track are potentially losing time during acceleration because the car is applying the brakes when you’re spinning the wheels. Hopefully this product will improve your track times.
There will probably be a large proportion of owners who are not interested in this at all, but at least know that there are a few of us trying to improve the aftermarket offerings available for this platform.

So the latest news regarding this project is that we have hit a snag. Traction Concepts have the differential opened and the ring gear is fused or welded to the spider gear casing (differential) instead of bolted like a regular differential, so they don't have the tech or tools to separate the ring gear.
If anyone knows of a LSD specialist who can do custom work on unconventional differentials, let me know, PM me. We can get the differential to them if they can do it.
