Hi everyone, I just purchased a new 2020 C43 AMG and it came with the 19 inch AMG Twin 5 Spoke Wheels w/ Dark Grey Accents. However, I think for my particular car color, it would look better with the same 19 inch Twin 5 Spoke Wheels that have the Black Accents. So I figured I’d post on the forum to see if anyone has the Black Accent Wheels and would be interested in doing a swap for my Dark Grey Accent Wheels? The car and wheels are Brand New and are in Perfect Condition. I purchased the car less than 2 weeks ago and it has less than 400 miles. I’ve included a picture, but if your interested, please let me know so that I can share additional pictures and we can discuss in more detail. Thanks!

That’s exactly the mod I did on my AMG GTS and the results were dramatic. However, I didn’t do a swap. I just had the gray powder coated black. With the high cost of shipping wheels ( with tires?) and the cost of dismounting, remounting and balancing, powder coating your wheels is just simpler. Trust me, the change in colors is surprisingly noticeable.

Thanks for the reply! I hadn’t considered powder coating but that sounds like a much better idea. Do you have any before and after pics of your AMG GTS that you wouldn’t mind sharing? Also, did you have it professionally done and if so, approximately how much did it cost for the powder coating? Thanks!

Which body style c43 did you get and how is the suspension/ride quality with the 19s?
I went with the 4 Door Sedan (again). I thought about switching it up and going for the Coupe this time, but I couldn’t find one in my area with the options I was looking for. I’ve only had it for a couple weeks but so far, I haven’t had any issues with the 19s. I previously had 18s on my 2017 C43, and honestly the suspension/ride quality feels about the same.
