Cat Placement too Close to Engine?
Hi,
I have found someone willing to fab a 300 CEL GESI fitted downpipe, however the design has the cat at the top of the downpipe rather than the bottom; which places it very close to the turbo outlet and engine bay etc.
this is a shot in the dark but I’m concerned the placement is too high up and placing a huge heat source like that in that location could cause problems. I’m still far from knowledgeable in such thing though and was hoping someone could chime in.
