2020 C43, can the amg unit be installed at dealer?
Searched the forums, only found folks asking about the 2019.
Got a 2020 c43 sedan, with most options but didn't have the U88 amg unit. Anyone know if this could be added on?

I have not seen a success story yet. According to dealerships it can't be done through official channels at least. I think there is a company in Canada (don't remember the name) that supposedly can retrofit a bunch of things, possibly including the AMG Drive Unit. Somebody posted on here a while back. Their 2020 C43 came with the AMG Drive Unit steering wheel controls, but they were not hooked up to anything. A casualty of the current supply chain shortages. Something in that car is missing to make it work and I haven't seen an update from them if the dealership was able to sort it out and get the missing parts retrofitted. Last I heard is that apparently that car is not the only one and the AMG specialists were hoping for an official communication out of Germany for what to do with these cars.
