C43 Cabrio Winter Storage

Heading into my first winter with my C43 cabriolet. My wife just got a Volvo XC60 T8 which needs to be in the garage to plug in (and she said she's not parking outside in winter anyway), so I'm going to have to keep the C43 outside. I have a car cover and I'm also planning on getting an all weather canopy so it will be covered and protected. I'm in Oregon, so we don't get a lot of snow but we get plenty of rain. Next year maybe building a car port. Anyway, my concern is keeping the battery charged. I'm looking at some charger/tenders but have no experience with them. I'm assuming you plug them in and put them in the engine bay connected to the battery and that's it? Any help would be appreciated. Any other tips as well? I probably will still drive the car once a week or so, and if we ever get some blue skies the top is going down!

If you're planning on driving the car once a week, don't bother with storing it. The battery will keep a charge for a couple of weeks at least.

True, but I also might be gone for a couple weeks here and there. I just want to keep the battery from fully dying and not having to wait a long time to charge if I do want to drive it.

Than just hook up a trickle charger and call it a day. No need to do anything else related to “storage”.
