2017 C 43...down shifts in Sport+ are weirdly rough
Bought a used, 2017 C 43. Only had 20k miles on it. Clean carfax, etc.
I've noticed that, when driving in Sport+, down shifts in the lower gears (3 -> 2, 2 -> 1) get very rough when using the automatic transmission. In manual mode, they are a bit softer, but they still throw me forward with the shift.
I've reset the TCU and usually turn off traction control since I've read that that might help. Anything else I can do? Or is this just normal for this car?
Edit - just did a search on the forum and I see many threads talking about this. Should have done that first. Sounds like the common advice is to just not downshift into first until the car is stopped completely, keep it in manual, and adjust your foot to handle the throttle better. I'll keep working at it I suppose.

What car are you coming from prior to the C43? I had an E90 prior to this and it was definitely something to get used to. My guess is since it’s a 9spd the downshifts are going to be a little more “aggressive” in comparison to other non sport cars.
