Let’s Talk WMI
I will be placing my order for an upgraded intercooler in the next few weeks and was thinking to go with a WMI kit while I am at it. That said, I am considering WMI solely to lower IATs and am thinking of running primarily water, with very little meth. Additionally, if I go WMI I have no intention of re-tuning my car (currently stage 2).
Is anyone else running WMI on their c43/c450 without being tuned to run WMI? If so, what power gains have you seen (either dyno results or trap speeds)? If data logging, what reduction have you seen in IATs? I really do not want to run WMI if it causes me to lose power without a WMI-specific tune.

No one that I've seen has produced higher HP numbers w/ a new intercooler. If so, it's marginal. It's not that there might not be more HP, but it's a rare change and it seems that it doesn't make much HP. The thing I have seen is consistency. On back to back runs, this platform heats up quickly, so being able to run the same times, especially in high heat, doesn't happen. With a new IC, consistency is the biggest gain.
WMI is another thing entirely.
